This Terms and Conditions of Use ("terms") constitutes a binding agreement between you and Clarifinancial, Inc. ("Clarifinancial"). You includes all users, but also includes people who seek to gather information about insurance (“shoppers”) and duly licensed and appointed agents, brokers, and other professionals who seek to find and ultimately interact with shoppers (“agents”). By accessing this website or any website owned or controlled by Clarifinancial, you agree to these terms. Additionally, any content you submit to Clarifinancial, through surveys, on our websites, via emails, or otherwise, becomes the property of Clarifinancial. If you do not acknowledge and agree to these terms, do not enter your information or continue using our websites. Your access and use of the websites is subject to these terms. We may change these terms from time to time without notice to you. You will always be able to view the most up to date version of these terms on our websites. Be sure to review these terms each time you access and use our site to make sure you have the most up to date information.
We respect and honor your privacy. We understand that you trust us with your private information and expect us to handle your information as if it was our own. Be confident that we protect your privacy. All personal data provided to us as a result of your use of the websites will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy.
By agreeing to these terms, you agree to the terms of our privacy policy. In order to protect data transmissions between you, Clarifinancial, and its business and research partners, Clarifinancial collects personal information through secured browser connections. These security measures help prevent unauthorized access and help maintain data security. However, no transmission of data over the Internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. Information may be unlawfully intercepted by other parties. Although Clarifinancial treats your privacy like it was our own, we cannot guarantee or warranty the safety of your information.
Clarifinancial is only place where insurance shoppers can receive customized life insurance quotes from many agents without talking to an agent. Clarifinancial has been in development since 2007 and was incorporated a year later. Clarifinancial is not an insurance agency and does not provide insurance services or personalized financial advice directly to consumers. Rather, Clarifinancial allows insurance shoppers and agents to find each other and communicate detailed insurance-related information without the fear normally associated with this process. Clarifinancial is an informational intermediary.
After you submit your quote request through Clarifinancial’s website, Clarifinancial immediately posts certain parts of your information, but not your name or contact information, on a database accessed by insurance agents. In turn, they are able to review your submitted information and work with their resources to provide you with what they believe to be the best insurance quote. 48 hours after you submit your request for an insurance quote, you may pick your favorite quote and authorize contact from that agent. The only insurance agent who will contact you because of Clarifinancial’s service is the agent you authorize.
In the event that you do not receive any insurance quotes through Clarifinancial, unlike some of our competitors, we will not sell your information to insurance agents outside Clarifinancial’s network. We will, however, make available to you information such as how many agents considered your quote request in more detail and the number of companies they represent so that you may gain an idea of what the insurance market might have for you. We cannot guarantee that you will receive quotes. While we understand this may not completely satisfy your shopping needs, we hope that this information serves as a useful gauge. In these rare cases, we also hope that you appreciate the fact we hold your privacy above your need for online insurance quotes.
Clarifinancial does not charge insurance shoppers a fee to use our service. Clarifinancial does not sell advertising that may influence your opinion or our objectivity. Clarifinancial does not publish the name of or endorse any particular insurance agent or company. Clarifinancial is paid fees by insurance agents after shoppers choose and authorize agents to contact them. We feel this is the most objective and unbiased method available to provide you with insurance information, leaving you free to make your own decision with clear information and fewer outside distractions.
Clarifinancial is not an agent of you, the insurance agents, or the insurance companies. We do not have the capacity to understand your situation and make recommendations for you the way you or a qualified financial professional may be able to. We only provide generalized advice as a general and regular media publisher open to the public. Any recommendations or opinions represent the views of each individual and may not represent the views of Clarifinancial. Use your own judgment in choosing an insurance agent and policy or seek help from a financial professional, such as a fee-only financial planner.
By submitting a quote request, you authorize Clarifinancial to provide your information as described in the privacy policy to insurance agents, both local, national, and international. By choosing and authorizing an agent, you understand you are extending an express invitation for that particular insurance agent to contact you by any means provided on your quote request, including but not limited to your phone numbers and email addresses. If you make contact with any insurance agent, further communications with that agent are not covered under these terms.
Clarifinancial does not intentionally target anyone under the age of 18. Our websites and services are not directed toward people under the age of 18, nor do we knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 18. If you are aware of an instance in which a minor may have submitted their information to Clarifinancial without their guardian’s direct supervision, please contact us immediately with details.

However Clarifinancial’s hosting of these links is not an endorsement of any particular company. In addition, due to the ever-changing nature of the internet, the content at these links may have changed. Clarifinancial reserves all legal rights, within the US and internationally, to its work which may be protected in various manners. By using certain features or services on or through the website, you may be required to create an account (including a user name or ID and password). You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your information, and for any access, use, or modifications in your account. You agree to notify Clarifinancial of any unauthorized access of your account or password, or any other security issue.
You may not use another person’s account, user name, or password without their express permission and consent. Clarifinancial is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your confidential information.
Clarifinancial is not responsible for quotes agents present through our web service. Clarifinancial and the agents who use its service are not responsible for errors in your quote that result because of incorrect information entered by you for a quote request. Further, you agree that quotes are only estimates of results and a quote does not represent an offer and a quote may change without change to your information. However, it is of the utmost importance to be truthful and accurate when requesting a quote through Clarifinancial’s service in order to receive more accurate quote results from the agents.
Agents agree to present quotes which are as accurate as reasonably possible based on their experience and information available to them at the time of the quote. Because shoppers select agents based on the characteristics of their quote, we understand agents may feel pressured to misrepresent portions of information. However, we take this action seriously. If a shopper selects an agent based on a quote which is deemed to not be reasonably accurate by Clarifinancial, Clarifinancial may withhold the fee paid by the agent to Clarifinancial. In such a rare case, Clarifinancial may also encourage the shopper to select another agent from that quote request. Any and all agents agree that Clarifinancial has sole discretion in determining “reasonable accuracy” and determining whether the fee paid by the agent will be withheld.
In the rare event that a shopper completes a quote request with inaccurate information, the agent may request a full refund of the fee paid to Clarifinancial in connection with that quote request within five business days. The agent should submit the request in writing and be received by Clarifinancial within 5 business days along with verifiable details of the informational discrepancy (ex. “She said she does not have diabetes but upon contacting her, she stated she does have diabetes.”). As long as any form of contact information for a shopper is correct, all forms of contact do not have to be correct. Any and all agents agree that Clarifinancial has sole discretion in determining the appropriateness and the final qualifications of refunds.
This agreement shall be governed and construed according to the laws of North Carolina and the United States of America without regard to any conflict of laws or principles of another jurisdiction. Any dispute in connection with this agreement will be heard solely in the state and federal courts in Raleigh, North Carolina; you hereby waive any objection to this jurisdiction expressly and irrevocably.
