Ode to a Paperclip

Paperclips are beautiful. Nothing more than a bent piece of wire, the paperclip was first patented in 1899 by Johan Vaaler, a Norwegian inventor. They are simple and elegant, perform their job without complaining, and infinitely reusable. When I see an idea that reflects these qualities, I sometimes refer to it as “the paperclip of…. (chairs, litter boxes, you fill in the blank).”

Four things make these inventions beautiful – they are balanced, simple, easy to use, and durable. Or as Matthew May would say In Pursuit of Elegance, they possess symmetry, seduction, subtraction, and sustainability. They could be physical objects or just a special way of doing business. In fact, the idea behind Clarifinancial was inspired by the qualities of a paperclip.

Previous methods of providing insurance quotes to the public did not hold the relationship of insurance shopper and agent in balance. Could you imagine if one side of a paperclip was too strong for the other side? The weakest side of the paperclip ultimately limits its utility. The same thing happens with insurance quotes. In order to find the strongest solution for both insurance shoppers and agents, we find a balance between them. Clarifinancial creates a place for both shoppers and agents to share quality information and find each other based on what they are looking for and what they have to offer.

Clarifinancial lacks the complexity of other solutions. The place you go to get quotes should not be the place that provides them for you. These are two different skills. By separating the information from the place, the best information lives on its own. Clarity comes when the surface is calm.

Clarifinancial does not require a lot of work to maintain and is highly durable. All processes except for marketing are automated. Of course we created them to feel warm and personal because we encourage you to reach out to us at any point in time. But left untouched, the machine will spin effortlessly without any fuss.

Clarifinancial is easy to use. You just answer some questions, wait, and then choose your favorite. If you don’t find a favorite, fine. You don’t have to choose a quote. We leverage high-competition tactics in a low-pressure way that is easy to follow. Check out some of the testimonials to see what others have to say about their experience.

I hope you agree with me that Clarifinancial is the paperclip of free life insurance quotes. If you are interested in the wide variety of actual paperclips, I recommend the Office Museum.
