Best of Clarifinancial October 2009
You may have noticed that even though our articles section of the website acts like a blog, we are missing a few important ingredients.
- We don’t have a “best of” section that lets you see the hottest topics we cover.
- We don’t have a comments section.
Both of these come down to development time and costs. We wanted to bring the best life insurance quoting product to you as quickly as we reasonably could. Adding on blog features was down on the list.
We plan on adding a “best of” section for the next version. In the mean time, this is what you get. But I’m still on the fence about comments. If you want to tell me what you think about comments, use the ShareThis button in the corner or you can find me on Twitter.
It would be ironic if you told me you want on-site comments, so go ahead and be funny. I’ll still listen.
Now, without further ado…
I knew we might be on to some kind of a hit early on when others when others started picking up the catchy Identical Twins are Not the Same. Not only is the title great, but in it you get to hear about why it’s important to be able to make choices as unique as you are.
In what may be one of the oldest life insurance debates, Term or Whole Life: Debate Settled attempts to end the discussion. My basic take on it is that it doesn’t matter. If you know what is important to you, you can choose a life insurance policy that fits your needs without worrying about what “type” it is.
In what may the artsy-est post on Clarifinancial, Ode to a Paperclip sings the praises of simple, enduring balance. If you’ve ever thought, “Wow, paperclips are great but they are so simple,” this is for you. Of course paperclips are a metaphor about life insurance, but you’ll have to read it to find out how.
While the official title wasn’t so memorable, Don’t Fall Victim to an Agent’s Desire to Make More Money became a late hit this month. This is a true story that shows when agents make judgment calls, even the good ones don’t always pick you over them. Using anonymous competition will keep them honest and working hard for you.
Granted Why Easier is Better has a prominent link from the home page, so maybe it has an unfair advantage from the start. But it is still a good read that clearly differentiates Clarifinancial from the competition. Long story short, if you want quotes from multiple agents with one form and no hassles, there is only one way to do it. While other methods may be more confusing or time consuming, they offer less.
